Little gray hair: yeah, I guess this is part of The You Evolution™, too
Eeeek! I found my first gray hair! Actually, I’m pretty certain it was white. Is that possible? No one drives me crazy enough to make me pull my hair out or give me white hair. And according to the research I’ve done, wiseGEEK included, your hair can absolutely not turn white from fright, no matter how extreme.
Drat. Guess that means I’m getting old.
Driving across the twin bridges, sunroof open, the rearview mirror revealed my new white friend. If it hadn’t been overcast, I surely would have assumed the bright sunlight was illuminating my natural blonde highlights. Hmmmm… maybe that’s how I’ll tell the story.
I continued to drive while attempting to remove the solo strand of hair. Quite a feat. I pulled five or six hairs before getting the stubborn rascal. Drawing a deep, restorative breath of air, I glanced at the rearview mirror and tossed myself an appreciative smile.
It was then I noticed the second little gray hair.
Don’t worry sweetie, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Everything else just adds character.
What Karen said!!! 🙂
Indeed! Thanks, chicas!! xo
And just what’s wrong with white hair!!!
So true, Daddy! And spoken like a true — handsomely white-haired — expert! xo
i thought I was lucky as I just found a brown hair. It’s just your perspective.
You made me laugh out loud, Jeff!! Thanks!
I have always heard that for every white hair you pull out three more grow in its place! Not sure if that is true or not!!!
Uh oh! I’m gonna vote it’s an old wives tale (fingers crossed!!)
