Barking dogs… and a cat: spending time with new friends
You know you’ve had too much caffeine when you start to talk faster than your tongue! But it’s well worth it when you’ve just enjoyed organic coffee with a cherished friend at the Orange Cat Cafe‘ in downtown Glens Falls. I opted for the Irish Cream Cheesecake flavor, given the day of course.
Never a dull moment when I’m with Nodrog, or as most of you know him, Gordon Woodworth with The Chronicle. You see, Hubs and Gordon have known each other since they were knee-high to a grasshopper, and they’ve always called each by their backward name. So Gordon will always be Nodrog to me.
The past two days have been on-the-go, on-my-feet kind of days and I have to be honest, my feet are killing me — or, my “dogs are barking” as they say. Whoever “they” are! So as I limped (with perfectly matched shoes) to and from my time with Nodrog, I had a smile on my face because time with a cherished friend is always on my To Do List. Speaking of that, gotta head over to the Chocolate Mill where I’m meeting the amazing Jessica to celebrate the day she was born!
Oh… and perhaps next time at The Cat, I’ll opt for something in a decaf.
Yo, Yo…Nice blog (I bet you get that a lot). I felt like the in-crowd for getting the inference about the shoes!LOL Can’t wait for the next one!
I laughed out loud when I read your “in-crowd” comment! You make my heart smile, Marky Mark! Thanks for the love and support. xo
You are so adorable, and I can’t wait to read more! Amazing night at the Chocolate Mill, thank you for being you – xoxo
Thanks, Sweets! It was indeed an amazing night. Can’t wait for the next one! And thanks for being YOU, too! muah! xo
